Historical

The Club was founded in 1886. The building looks largely as it did in the early 1900s but includes all the modern conveniences you would expect.The Grand Ballroom: Spacious and richly paneled, this century-old room has seen hundreds of parties, weddings, performances, and events.  A high ceiling (originally designed for drying sails), a stage, built-in sound system, and sunporch make this a unique and flexible space for any large event.    The sweeping view of San Francisco, Bay Bridge, Alkatraz, Angel Island, and California Shoreline creates a perfect setting for this jewel of a space.

Elegant

Several spaces are available for special event rentals. The most popular is the Grand Ballroom, a spacious room wood-paneled area with a high ceiling, stage, sound system, hardwood dance floor and an impressive wood burning fireplace. This grand space is most appropriate for wedding receptions, corporate functions, and private parties.

Sunny

The adjacent Solarium and outdoor deck have a fantastic vista of San Francisco Bay. These areas are the best spots for appreciating the extraordinary view while enjoying champagne, hors d’oeuvres and the company of good friends.
